Friends and Colleagues,
I am in the process of culling resources, or, as realtors say it these days, “editing” one’s home and belongings. Over the years, I have been given extra copies of books or magazine issues that were going out of print, and a video. These are dated resources but still good. Friends and Colleagues,
I am in the process of culling resources, or, as realtors say it these days, “editing” one’s home and belongings. Over the years, I have been given extra copies of books or magazine issues that were going out of print, and a video. These are dated resources but still good. If you want some for your own collection or to give out to people in trainings, here is what I have:
- A Place for Everyone”: A Guide for Special Education Bible, Teaching-Reaching Ministry.
Athalene McNay. Published by Lifeway Christian Resources, Southern Baptist Convention. 125 page. book with work pages, etc. Available as unopened boxes of 56 copies. (Sorry, I don’t have the time to break them up.) You pay shipping costs plus @$5. I just shipped some to Georgia and it cost @$40 per box. - December, 1994 Issue of Exceptional Parent Magazine, focused on Religious Participation for All. Order in multiples of 5.
- On Religion and Disabilities, an issue of The Disability Rag. Fall, 1993. A good resource for clergy and chaplains and others as well. @41 pp. Order in multiples of 5.
- We Don’t Have Any Here Winifred Anderson, Toby Gould, and James Paul. One of the first resources, a 40 pp. booklet describing seven different ministries and how to get started. From Discipleship Resources, United Methodists. 1986. Also in multiples of 5.
- VHS copies of the Wisconsin 11 minute video, Believing, Belonging, Becoming. Four vignettes of congregational inclusion, two about children, two about adults. Three stories are Christian, one Jewish. An excellent and very up to date piece to use for awareness building and education in multiple settings. Order as single copies, 5 max.
To order, send me an email that includes your name, shipping address, and what you want. I will fill copies until I run out and then send you a picture of the receipt so you can reimburse me directly by check. I will add a little to pay for shipping boxes, etc. I cannot fill credit card orders.
