Do you know the next Henri J.M. Nouwen Award recipient?
The Religion and Spirituality Division of AAIDD is proud to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2015 Henri J.M. Nouwen Award recipient.
The prestigious Henri J.M. Nouwen Award is bestowed upon an individual who is nominated by his/her peers. Nominees are people who reflect the compassion, commitment, ministry and servanthood that values and esteems people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Consider nominating someone who exemplifies the spirit of inclusion through their work in their faith community. The award criteria and instructions for nominations are posted on the AAIDD website.
Send your completed nomination by January 31, 2016 to Past President Anne Masters at masteranrcan@gmail.com. You can also contact Anne with any questions.
The Henri J.M. Nouwen Award will be presented at the 2016 Religion and Spirituality Division Forum on Thursday, June 9 (immediately following the AAIDD annual conference) in Atlanta GA.
